2026 UFO CHALLENGE AT TYBOUT HOUSE

I challenge each knitter and crocheter to finish twelve UFOs in 2026!  A UFO is an “unfinished object” that has been lounging around your project bags.  Maybe it needs to have the ends woven in, blocked, or the socks were stuck on sock island and the second one never got done.  Whatever the case may be those projects generally create some lingering stress.  I’m all about eliminating stress and getting these projects done! 

Entries are due by January 10, 2026.

FAQ

How to enter?

-          Enter ALL of the 2026 UFOs you want to complete by submitting a picture or list of the unfinished project.  You can have as many or as few entries as you desire.  The picture/list can be sent to me via a message, email, or posted on social media and tagging Tybout House.

What counts as an UFO?

-          I’ve had a project on my needles for three years, does that count?  YES

-          What if I have the yarn, pattern, and hook in a bag, does that count?  YES

-          I cast on five times and have done three rows, does that count?  YES

What are the prizes and how do I enter?

-          There are two categories: small projects and large projects.  A drawing will be held each month for a $10 gift certificate in each category!

-          Small Projects = hats, mittens, shawlettes, etc

-          Large Projects = Blankets, sweaters, certain shawls, etc

-          When you finish a project and submit the completed photo to me you will be entered into a drawing for the month that the project is finished.

-          You can enter more than one finished project per month for more than one entry that month.
