Criteria for Items Submitted by Artisans

Labeling:

• Items should be labeled with price on a tag that can not fall off easily.  Stickers tend to dry up and fall off.

• Tags may have your name or business name on it, but no contact information like phone, address, email or Web site. 

• I place a sticker on your tag with the items inventory code and price.  This is removed from the items when it is sold and marked in the inventory for payment to you.

Jewelry:

• Label content of beads (ex. plastic, turquoise, diamond, quartz, etc.)
• Label any metal (silver, 14ct gold, stainless steel, etc.)
• Make sure clasps are easy for people to open
• Make sure bracelets are of standard length

Candles:

• Scented candles must be enclosed in a cellophane bag to contain and maintain the scent of the candle from escaping
• Any content or warning labels should be attached to the candle

Garments:

• Make sure to include the intended size
• List the fiber content for those who may have a sensitivity to various fibers - like wool
• Include washing instructions should there be problems with shrinking

Soaps and Scented Sprays:

• follow legal regulations with labeling and contact information
